The Sa Bassa Blanca Museum modernises its digital image with the launch of its new website

The Sa Bassa Blanca Museum (MSBB), one of Mallorca’s most unique cultural treasures, has announced the official launch of its new website. With a completely revamped, more visual and functional design, the museum seeks to bring its eclectic art collection and stunning natural surroundings to visitors from all over the world.

A digital window onto art

The new website is not just a cosmetic change, but a tool designed to improve the user experience (UX). Among the main new features are:

  • Intuitive Navigation: Direct access to the different areas of the museum: the Nest (contemporary art), the “Nins” portrait gallery, the Sculpture Park and the rose garden.

  • Optimised Ticket Sales: A more efficient system for booking guided tours and general admission tickets, making it easier to plan your trip.

  • Multimedia Content: High-resolution photo galleries and videos that capture the symbiosis between art, architecture and nature that defines the Foundation.

  • Responsive design: Fully adapted for mobile devices, allowing visitors to consult information in real time while touring the facilities.

More than a museum, a living experience

Located in a protected area of Alcúdia, Sa Bassa Blanca is known for its main building designed by Hassan Fathy. The new platform places special emphasis on the history of the foundation and the vision of its creators, Yannick and Ben Jakober, highlighting their commitment to education and heritage preservation.

“This new website is the first step in our digitalisation strategy for 2026, with the aim of breaking down the physical barriers to the art of Sa Bassa Blanca,” said a spokesperson for the institution.
