Ben Jakober and Yannick Vu had the pleasure to receive the visit at msbb, of their dear friends, Catherine Zeta Jones and Michael Douglas.

Msbb celebrates the 30th anniversary of its creation as a museum, while Michael Douglas celebrates the 35th anniversary of living in S’Estaca, where Yannick lived with her first husband Domenico Gnoli from 1968 to 1970.

A great friendship unites these friends who share their love for the island of Majorca and the Majorcans. The white architecture of Sa Bassa Blanca was inspired by S’Estaca and interpreted by the great Egyptian architect Hassan Fathy. When Michael remodelled s’ Estaca, he, in turn found inspiration in Sa Bassa Blanca. That is why Mallorca has two architectural jewels in similar landscapes, that share a common timeless architectural language.
