Coffered Ceiling, 15th century

Sa Bassa Blanca Museum (msbb) also boasts a “Mudejar” polychrome coffered ceiling in the last room, dated 1498, from Tarazona (Zaragoza) and declared "Heritage of the Balearic Islands" (BIC).

This wooden ceililng bears the following inscription: "This chapel was built at his cost by Juan Castellano Fernandes perpetual chaplain of this Church of Taraçona which chapel was mainly built for worship of God and reverence of the conception of our Lady Virgin Mary, and the birth of our Saviour Jesus Christ, MCDXCVIII”
