We have just installed a new gate and a pair of lion‑dogs (komainu), featuring leonine heads on canine bodies, which are traditionally placed before the entrance of Shinto shrines to ward off evil. The figure on the left is distinguished by its open mouth (a gyō), while the figure on the right bears a closed mouth (un gyō). We feel protected by their presence that will ensure the prosperity of the biological vegetable patch of the « Huerto del molino » at msbb.
