The Sa Bassa Blanca Museum has celebrated the Balearic Islands Day with an exceptional influx of public.

The open day with which we traditionally celebrated the Day of the Balearic Islands in the Sa Bassa Blanca Museum, has had an unparalleled welcome. We have received a total of 1167 visitors, among which were a large number of families.

The children have once again been the protagonists and have been able to participate, with their parents, in two workshops of artistic activities.

The Portraits workshop, in which children had to reinterpret a work of art, has shown us the creativity of its small participants.

The Animal Masks workshop, which had to represent some of the animals found in the Sculpture Park, has had a large participation. Children and their families have been able to create their own masks with recycled materials, since respect for the environment is an ever present topic in our educational program and in the museum in general.

The Sa Bassa Blanca Museum team wants to thank all the visitors who have accompanied us today, and we hope that everyone has enjoyed the museum, surrounded by art, nature and architecture.
