This book has been edited and published on the occasion of the ''Perspectives. Ben Jakober & Yannick Vu (1984-2002)'' exhibited at the Sástago Palace in Zaragoza (Spain). This exhibition comprises sixty works -sculptures, models of monumental sculptures, installations, drawings and photographs- created by Ben Jakober and Yannick Vu between1984 and 2002.

Ben Jakober (Vienna 1930) and Yannick Vu (Montfort-L'Amaury 1942) are two important individuals and a couple of artists with a significant international artistic activity from the beginning of the eighties, since then their artistic carrer has been highly active. Over the last decade they have participated in dozens of individual and group exhibitions in Europe and America, including their participation in Venice's Bienniall (1986, 1993), Sao Paulo's Biennial (1996) and Valencia's Biennial (2001)

The bilingual Spanish/English edition of this book includes a long text by the exhibition curator, Pablo J. Rico, as well as a complete catalogue of all the works exhibited in Zaragoza at the Sástago Palace, and many images of previous works by Ben Jakober, working on his own, or as a couple with Yannick Vu. The book is illustrated with 98 colour photos.
